My List of Game Improvements
Just some things off the top of my head that I would enjoy:
1. Make it so when you complete a mission the servers are contacted about this completion immediately instead of after the cut scene. A couple of times after I completed a mission and waited through the scene at the end, the next town would not connect. This somehow results in an incomplete mission.
2. Make henchmen avoid poison swamps/lava unless instructed to attack something in it or there is no close by land to stand on.
3. There should be some form of prize for killing the boss dragon in Majesty's Rest instead of a few chests full of 30 gold and salvage items. Also, make the boss more difficult to kill.
4. According to a cut scene, the volcano path in the Ring of Fire mission is supposed to be easier. However, the front gate is not only easier, it is three times faster. Either make the volcano path easier, or make the front gate harder.
5. Isn't the Henge of Denravi supposed to be hidden and the only way to reach it is via the Druid runes? Why is there a land route? Why go through the Aurora Glade mission at all if you can reach the Henge by walking? Take out the land route.
6. Why do the undead attack your party in Riverside Province and Sanctum Cay when you are trying to help the guy who commands the undead? Replace the undead with anything in these missions.
7. The Thunderhead Keep mission needs some revamping. The difficulty level is fine but the way it plays out is not. As it stands a party of 8 plus King Rush-n-Die try to storm a keep full of 100+ Stone Summit troops. After this silly feat is accomplished, this small group us supposed to defend an entire fort from an onslaught all by themselves. Here's what I'd like.
For the city and fort parts, add more units to mobs but give your party many dwarves to help you. Make this seem like an actual climactic battle. Finally when the Mursaat arrive, beef up their numbers but maybe make it so when you light the beacons bands of dwarves arrive to aid you.
8. Make the story clearer.
9. Henchmen should never switch targets unless you tell them to. End of discussion.
10. In the Ice Caves of Sorrow mission, how many doors can you blow up and mysteriously nobody takes notice? At least send some small patrols to check out what happened.
11. Add an area connecting Mineral Springs to Old Ascalon. Fill this area with level 30+ mobs that are full of bosses and all mobs knock you down, slow you down, drain your life, and cast meteor showers everywhere. Wait, scratch this one...
